What does "Atılgan" mean?

The name of this blog, Atılgan, is of Turkish origin and is pronounced as /atɯlɡan/ (ah-tuhl-GAHN). It is my surname and carries the meaning of being bold. Unimaginatively, that's how I named my blog. Because, dunno, why wouldn't I?
